Educational Library Virtual Gallery: Orange Shirt Day

Post Date:
Sep 29, 2020

Each year on September 30, Canadians wear an orange shirt to demonstrate their commitment to reconciliation and the continuation of an open dialouge about residential schooling and the lasting impact it has had, past and present, on Indigenous communities.

Even though we might not be gathering together physically this year, you can still particpate virtually! You can start by viewing the Education Library's virtual galley of children’s stories, memoirs, and teacher resources (including lesson plans and activity guides) that promote Orange Shirt Day. These books are available online, or through Curbside Pickup
