Queen's University has a new student-created Open Education Resource (OER)!
This textbook, "The Ball is in Y(Our) Court: Social Change Through and Beyond Sport", was created by the students in Mary Louise Adams' Sports and Culture (KNPE 473) course in the Fall of 2020.
Designed to inspire discussions and empower people to think critically about structures and normative beliefs within our current society, this book discusses topics of structural violence, difference, marginalization, and inequality through a sports lens, and then funnels out to broader sociological perspectives.
