Maggie Gordon

Engineering and Science Librarian

Maggie Gordon is an Engineering & Science Librarian at Douglas Library. She provides research assistance and delivers instructional sessions to students and faculty in several applied science and engineering programs at the university. She also participates in the collection development of the library's resources for general and popular science, as well as Environmental Studies, Civil Engineering, Biology, and Geological Sciences/Geological Engineering. Maggie is also responsible for the development and maintenance of online learning resources in her liaison subject areas. 

Maggie's research interests include the value and usage of popular reading collections in academic libaries, best-practices in curriculum-integrated information literacy instruction, and the information-seeking-behaviour of STEM students.
