The primary genealogical resource in the collection is the Dr. H. C. Burleigh fonds. Complied by Dr. Herbert Clarence Burleigh (1893-1980), a Bath, Ontario general practitioner and local historian, the collection contains records related to the genealogy of hundreds of Kingston-area families. Early Student Registers of the university can also be a helpful resource in conducting genealogical research.
More information on genealogical resources in the Queen’s University Archives can be found on the archives website. A Genealogy library guide is also available as a potential starting point.
