Library Indigenous Resources Portal

The library's Indigenous Resources Portal brings together work from across the library to support research and teaching in Indigenous studies and to assist faculty and students in bringing Indigenous perspectives into their teaching, research and learning.

The creation of the library’s Indigenous Resources Portal was informed by recommendation 21.1 of the Queen’s University Truth and Reconciliation Task Force final report Yakwanastahentéha | Aankenjigemi | Extending the Rafters: “Create an Indigenous learning portal to support faculty members as they integrate Indigenous knowledge into their courses and programs” (p. 15). It is also responsive to recommendation 6: “Enhance the visibility of Indigenous communities at Queen’s and promote inclusive learning and community spaces on campus.”
