Queen’s University is proud to announce the selection of the top five presenters at this year’s Inquiry at Queen’s (I@Q) undergraduate research conference.

The conference introduced the Vice-Principal Research Undergraduate Prize in 2024. This prestigious award recognizes the rigorous academic efforts of our students and elevates the profile of undergraduate research at Queen’s.

We are thrilled to award the top prize to Dominic Everett and Arianne Ettehadieh, whose papers were selected by graduate student adjudicators as the most exemplary works presented at the conference. They will each receive $1,000. We extend our gratitude to their faculty supporters, Stephanie Lind, Dean Burry, and Scott Berthelette, for their invaluable guidance and support.

The other top three presenters are Kai Siallagan, Rikizo Tamaki, and Lauren Waters. All five will have an opportunity to share their research in an interview on CFRC radio.

We invite the public to learn more about the presentations and the researchers behind them by visiting the 2024 I@Q conference program. The full proceedings, including digital copies of presentation slides and posters, will be made available shortly.

Queen’s University extends its thanks to all volunteers and supporters who dedicated their time and effort to make the I@Q conference a success, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
