During this time, our library services and operations are constantly being updated. Please see our COVID-19 Updates on Library Services & Operations page for the latest information.
As Ontario enters Step 3 of its COVID-19 reopening plan on July 16, seat booking will be increased in Stauffer Library, including the outdoor terrace seating, up to 50% of seating capacity.
Archives & Special Collections
Queen's University Archives and the W. D. Jordan Rare Books and Special Collections will begin taking bookings for individual access by appointment on July 6. This service expansion builds on our online reference and scanning services. Researchers can consult collections by appointment between 9 am-noon, and 1-4 pm. The number of appointments is limited to safeguard users and library staff.
Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or at email@example.com. Due to limited resources, we cannot conduct detailed research for you and responses may be delayed. However, we can tell you whether we hold records that are relevant to your enquiry or advise you of possible alternative sources.

The library offers a curbside pickup service to all current Queen’s students, faculty, and staff, and emeritus using the Request feature in our Omni search tool. Curbside pickup is available Tuesday to Saturday 9 am – 5 pm in the rotunda, beginning July 6.
