Interlibrary Loan Services Resume

The library will be resuming interlibrary loan (ILL) services for print materials beginning on February 16, 2021 using the RACER system. Patrons will be notified by email when their requested item(s) are available for curbside pickup at Stauffer Library.  ILL service for electronic materials has continued throughout the pandemic.

There may be shipment delays for print ILL materials as not all Ontario or Canadian academic library partners have resumed full ILL services. Items not available through ILL will automatically be considered for purchase. 

Current Queen’s faculty, students and staff also continue to have access to HathiTrust (HT) Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS), providing full digital access to over 860,000 in-copyright items for our print collections through 2003, in addition to the 4.4 million worldwide public domain items already accessible in HT. This represents 36.4% of our print collection.
